Apply for Residency Thank you for your interest in our Family Medicine Residency Program in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Below, please find the requirements for our program:
ŸCurrent ECFMG certification ŸPass USMLE parts I CK, TOEFL and CS to meet the state criteria for licensure in New Mexico. No minimum score is required, but we do not consider applicants who have not passed by their 2nd attempt. ŸU.S. citizen or permanent resident. ŸNew Mexico uses the California Medical Board list of approved schools. Please verify that your school is listed on this list as an approved school. ŸExperience working in the U.S. in a clinical setting (minimum of one year) ŸMust have graduated from medical school no longer than 5 years ago ŸMust be able to demonstrate a true commitment to family medicine

ŸAll applications must be submitted via ERAS, the electronic residency application system. Apply for Residency through ERAS The application deadline is December 1.
